Senior Auditor

The firm is looking for an Audit Manager and SR Auditor to join their well-established department of 25 colleagues offering remote working for the right candidate.

The role will be 100% statutory external audit but will also have an element of different types of audits.

This firm has 25 staff so is by no means a small outfit, but we have a “work hard, play hard” ethos with frequent social occasions from quiz night and dinner & learn etc. Though we all work remotely, we put a face to a name every so often with team building activities.

Main Duties:

· Audit of statutory accounts compliant with auditing standards.

·Leading an audit team ( 7 to 10 people) , ensuring the team complete in a timely manner within budget.

·Managing audit assignments from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales.

·Controlling time spent and monitoring actual time within budget.

·People management – coaching, feedback, performance management, training and development, engaging high performing teams.

·Ensure standards and procedures maintained by whole team

·Assesses and produces high quality work in line with the Firm's policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements.

·Ability to work on number of audit assignments simultaneously

·Performing a detail review of all audit assignments

.Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

·Holds significant experience of leading external audits managing a portfolio of clients and leading audit teams

·Prior experience of working at an experienced Audit Seniors (qualified auditors)

·Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

·Takes ownership of projects, effectively delegates to others within the team and takes responsibility for quality control.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Monday to Saturday ( from April onwards alternative Saturday off)

• India time :11am to 8pm
