Senior Auditor

Role Overview: You will be responsible for reviewing internal audit reports to ensure uniformity and parity across various audit areas. Your primary objective will be to maintain the effectiveness of the Internal Audit function under the supervision of the Team Leader and guidance of the Group Head. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting quality checks (QCs) on audit reports to achieve uniformity and parity across different audit areas - Proposing and conducting ad hoc reviews to enhance audit coverage and identify areas for improvement - Assisting the team leader in coordinating and preparing notes for the Board and Audit Committee, including presentations - Supporting the team leader in developing the quarterly audit calendar for the Group Head - Assisting in gathering and reviewing data for submission to external auditors, RBI inspectors, etc. - Participating in the review of manpower budgeting and risk categorization of branches/units - Collaborating in the review of the Audit Plan, Policy Manual, and other process documents within the Department - Completing other assignments or reviews as delegated by the Team Leader and Group Head - Maintaining coordination within the department and with other departments as needed - Staying updated on regulatory guidelines and developments related to the job role Qualification Required: - Graduation or Post-graduation in any field - Proficient in effective communication and drafting skills - Strong analytical abilities - Mandatory knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Capable of planning and executing audit plans effectively - Ability to meet deadlines consistently - Preferably familiar with related areas of operations and RBI guidelines on banking operations.,
