Senior Auditor

You will be joining the Asset Servicing International (ASI) Team within Audit Services at Northern Trust, a globally recognized financial institution with over 130 years of experience and more than 22,000 partners. Your role as a Senior Auditor will involve leading and executing audit projects across ASI, providing oversight to the audit team, and communicating results to senior management. You will work closely with Senior Audit Managers to confirm audit scope, devise testing approaches, and execute engagements. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading/executing multiple audits simultaneously - Conducting and documenting complex and high-risk audits - Demonstrating professional skepticism and suggesting process improvements - Finalizing planning documents and drafting reports - Reviewing work papers of audit team members and ensuring departmental standards are met - Communicating audit status to business unit and Audit Services management - Compiling findings and recommendations for status updates, memos, and audit reports To excel in this role, you should have 5 to 7 years of internal audit experience in the financial services industry, knowledge of internal audit processes, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and strong organizational and time management skills. While professional certifications and an MBA are preferred, they are not mandatory. You should also be able to work independently, have a general knowledge of interfacing areas, and be adaptable to change.
