Senior Auditor

The firm is looking for a new Senior Auditor to join their well-established department of 20 colleagues offering remote working for the right candiate.

The role will be 100% statutory external audit but will also have an element of different types of audits.

This firm has 20 staff so is by no means a small outfit, but we have a work hard, play hard” ethos with frequent social occasions from quiz night and dinner & learn etc. Though we all work remotely, we put a face to a name every so often with team building activities.

Main Duties:

• Audit of statutory accounts compliant with auditing standards.
• Training and supervision of junior staff in all aspects of auditing and review of work produced.
• Taking full responsibility (end to end) from the planning to the completion section.
• Supervision of junior staff
• Appraisal of staff after audit completion.

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience:

• CA (ICAI full membership) (1 to 3 years post qualification experience and also ideal but newly qualified considered)
• Experience of supervising on Audit assignment.
• Strong IT skills
• Experience in audit documentation (2 way referencing)
• Willing to learn new software like MWP, CASEWARE etc
