What does this role entail?
The Finance Solutions team works closely with global clients and project teams to help CFOs and their organizations identify, design and implement AI-powered programs that transform their finance functions. We are looking for a Senior Associate who can bring strong technical capabilities in Generative AI and agent-based automation to deliver innovation in areas such as financial close, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, FP&A, treasury, and reporting.This role will suit individuals passionate about AI-first finance transformation—blending technical depth with business acumen to design next-gen digital finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As a team member, you will:
- Develop and implement GenAI-based solutions (LLM applications, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems) tailored for Finance Transformation.
- Work on proof-of-concepts and accelerators that apply AI to finance processes such as reconciliations, journal entry automation, anomaly detection, reporting, and treasury.
- Partner with global client teams to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle: problem definition, solution design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and adoption.
- Contribute to thought leadership, proposals, and business development for GenAI offerings.
- Stay updated with the evolving AI/ML ecosystem and assess applicability for PwC clients.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Strong programming expertise in Python is a must.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGraph) is good to have
- Experience in working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.) or open-source models (LLaMA, Falcon, Mistral).
- Proficiency in AI/ML model development: prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment.
- Exposure to finance processes (R2R/O2C/P2P) is good to have.
- Working knowledge of data visualization & reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.
- Experience with Microsoft tools (Power Platform, PowerApps, SharePoint List) and Data modeling/Database setup (including SQL) is good to have
