Job Summary


Compliance Function strives to support the organization’s objectives by adding value by bringing operational transparency, preserving value by mitigating legal and reputational risk from regulatory non-compliance, and enhancing value by promoting culture of compliance.


The candidate is expected to spearhead this function which shall enable the organization in keeping up with the ever-evolving nature of regulatory compliance, conducting consistent risk assessments to identify areas where the organization might be vulnerable to non-compliance and adapting the organization’s practices accordingly.


Responsibilities


Compliance Efficiency Evolution Initiative:

  • Contribute to implementation of the technological advancement of the function with best-in-class automation practices, to drive efficiency in the overall Finance processes impacting regulatory and internal compliances.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to enhance systems and tools.


Technical Metrics:

  • Ensure timely submission of the data for regulatory reporting with effective review and ensuring adherence to validation checks.
  • Assist in litigation management.
  • Regular review of the Finance processes to ensure the application controls are inbuilt in financials and tertiary applications and regular review of the same to ensure effective controls. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify areas of vulnerability.
  • Develop, implement and ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing client and vendor contracts from Finance perspective.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, and adapt compliance practices as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining robust internal controls and regular review to prevent errors and fraud and ensure the integrity of regulatory reporting.


Demonstrating People Leadership:

  • Supervising and managing a team, including their performance, productivity, and adherence to SOP
  • Providing constant coaching, monitoring, and training to enhance team members’ futuristic skill sets, knowledge, and perform regulatory and technical training for the team
  • Maintaining quality standards and conducting frequent quality checks to identify areas of improvement and take corrective actions on the feedback.
