Senior Accountant (US Staffing)

Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Indore (Onsite Role)

Shift Timings: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM

Work Mode: Night Shift

Week Offs: Saturday & Sunday Fixed

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) as per GAAP and government contracting rules.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAR and DCAA requirements; assist in audits and reviews.

Invoicing & Accounts Receivable: Create and issue client invoices; ensure accuracy, timely payments, and resolve discrepancies.

General Ledger Management: Record/classify financial transactions (AP, AR, payroll); reconcile accounts and maintain ledger integrity.

Financial Analysis: Provide insights through financial analysis to support business decisions and identify trends.

Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors for federal, state, and local compliance; assist in tax filings.

Audit Support: Provide documentation and responses during audits; address findings and corrective actions.

Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in financial processes.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance

3 to 5 years of Experience in the same field.

Proven accounting experience (government contracting preferred).

Knowledge of FAR & DCAA regulations.

Proficient in QuickBooks.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented with high accuracy in reporting.

Effective communicator and team collaborator.

Familiar with tax compliance and deadlines.
