Job Description

We’re Hiring | Finance & Accounts Team (Goa)

Senior accountant and senior accountant (costing)

1. Senior Accountant

Experience:

CTC:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping
  • Handle general ledger reconciliations and timely month-end closing
  • Review journal entries, expense provisions, and supporting documents
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements
  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors
  • Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, and budget variance reports
  • Oversee payroll, fixed assets, and inventory accounting
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
  • Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
  • Support management with ad-hoc financial reports and data requests

2. Senior Accountant – Costing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor cost sheets, standard costs, and BOMs
  • Analyse production costs including material, labour, and overheads
  • Conduct variance analysis (actual vs standard) and highlight deviations
  • Track inventory movement, stock valuation, and consumption patterns
  • Review monthly cost allocations and overhead absorption
  • Monitor wastage, scrap, and yield reports for cost control
  • Coordinate with procurement, stores, and production teams
  • Prepare costing MIS, cost summaries, and profitability analysis
  • Perform periodic stock audits and support physical verification
  • Review vendor pricing and support cost optimisation initiatives
  • Assist in cost-related budgeting and forecasting
