About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts to manage end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The role involves handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bookkeeping, financial reporting, and supporting the Finance Head in strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AP/AR operations, including invoice processing, payments, billing, collections, and account reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly book closings, provisions, and financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare receivables and payables statements, and forecast cash flow.
• Ensure GST IT and PT compliance and adherence to other statutory regulations.
• Generate MIS reports to provide insights into financial performance and support decision-making.
• Coordinate and support audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring smooth compliance checks.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and customers, resolving disputes and ensuring timely transactions.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, ensuring team efficiency and adherence to processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and multi-currency accounting.
• Strong understanding of GST IT and PT compliance.
• Expertise in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
• Experience in audit coordination and statutory compliance.
• Ability to prepare and analyze cash flow, receivables, and payables statements.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce; MBA (Finance) is a plus.
• CA PCC (Inter) and completed CA Article ship would be a plus.
• 7–8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or AP/AR management.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
