Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant (Male Preferred) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations, preparing detailed financial reports, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations, and providing crucial financial insights to management. Experience within the painting or related manufacturing industry is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

* Prepare and present accurate and timely Management Information System (MIS) reports, including performance dashboards, variance analysis, and key financial metrics for management review.

* Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring adherence to internal policies and accounting standards.

* Conduct detailed analysis of financial data, identifying trends, forecasting requirements, and recommending action plans to improve efficiency and profitability.

Accounting & Operations

* Oversee and manage the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.

* Ensure the accurate and timely entry of all financial transactions into the accounting system.

* Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data integrity.

* Maintain fixed asset register and compute depreciation accurately.

Compliance & Taxation

* Ensure full compliance with all statutory obligations, including timely and accurate filing of returns.

* Possess comprehensive working knowledge of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), including calculation, deposit, and filing of returns.

* Handle all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including invoicing, input tax credit reconciliation, payment, and filing of GSTR returns.

* Demonstrate foundational knowledge of Income Tax (IT) regulations and assist in the preparation of data for annual tax assessments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

* Qualification: Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance.

* Experience: 4 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.

* Industry: Proven experience in the painting, chemical, or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

* Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and financial modeling.

* Solid working experience with accounting software, specifically Tally Prime/ERP.

* Familiarity with or the ability to quickly adapt to industry-specific software like Acro-bis (or similar ERP/MIS systems).

* Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or relevant accounting standards.

* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
