Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger management, compliance and auditing, budgeting and forecasting, tax preparation and filing, team leadership, and systems and process improvement. Your key responsibilities will include: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). - Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data. - Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management. - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. - Review journal entries and ensure proper documentation. - Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes. - Ensure compliance with Ind AS and relevant regulations, including the Companies Act, 2013. - Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation. - Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. - Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to management. - Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to AP/AR. - Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory tax filings. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines. - Assist in tax planning and strategy development. - Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. - Provide training and support to team members. - Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. - Utilize accounting software and tools effectively. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA or CMA preferred). - Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). - Strong knowledge of Ind AS and financial reporting standards. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Knowledge of local taxation and statutory compliance. This is a full-time position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, leave encashment, paid time off, and a yearly bonus. The work schedule is during the day shift.
