Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management. Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to improve financial performance. General Accounting: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance. Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records. Taxation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, etc. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments. Team Supervision: Manage and mentor junior accountants, Review and approve their work, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely payments and collections. Manage vendor System and Process Optimization: Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize ERP and financial systems. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Experience: Minimum of2-3years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas). Knowledge: In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and commitment to maintaining financial integrity.
