We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and help ensure the smooth and efficient management of our financial operations.

Job Summary:The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

1.Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

2.Bank Reconciliation:

• Reconcile the company’s bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.

3.Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.

4.Tax and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of taxes, ensuring all tax-related documents are filed accurately and on time.

5.Expense Management:

• Review and process employee expense claims and ensure they are in line with company policies.
• Monitor and control expenditures to ensure the company’s financial health.

6.Payroll Processing:

• Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.

7.Audit Support:

• Support internal and external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Implement audit recommendations and internal controls to ensure financial accuracy.

8.Financial Analysis:

• Assist in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
• Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and cost control.

9.Inventory and Asset Management:

• Monitor and manage company inventory and assets, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar finance role (6months-2 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.

Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
