Senior Accountant Executive

The Senior Accountant will oversee the complete accounting and financial management of the campus, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with institutional and statutory requirements. The role involves supervising the accounts team, monitoring daily transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting management in decision-making and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Review and finalize accounts up to trial balance and assist in financial statement preparation.
• Oversee fee collections, reconciliations, and ensure proper accounting of all income and expenses.
• Manage payroll processing, deductions, and statutory remittances (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
• Handle vendor management — verifying bills, approvals, and timely payments.
• Ensure monthly and yearly bank reconciliation statements are prepared accurately.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review (campus-wise income & expenditure).
• Coordinate and support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with audit observations.
• Maintain records for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor budget utilization.
• Guide junior accountants and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
• Liaise with Head Office / Management for consolidated reporting and fund transfers.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting (preferably in educational institutions or multi-branch organizations).
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
• Experience in preparing and finalizing financial statements and audit coordination.
