Job Description Senior Financial Analyst has responsibility for accounting operations and execution of control procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Company’s policies and procedures set by the Corporate Controller. The primary responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst are to: Ensure Fixed Assets, Other Assets, and Intercompany are maintained in accordance with accounting policies. Perform month end close and activities and post-close reporting. Support statutory and compliance activities including but not limited to statutory financial audits and tax audits. Support Company’s execution of internal controls and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Responsibilities Fixed Assets and Other Assets accounting Monitoring CWIP balances to ensure accuracy and timely capitalization Review of account reconciliations of Fixed Assets related balances Coordinate Fixed Assets physical verification and reporting Review and monitoring of Advances to Vendors/ Employees, Security Deposits, and Prepaid Expenses accounts Review related reports as needed Intercompany Accounting Monitoring IC reconciliation and IC balance confirmation, seek resolution of long outstanding items. EDPMS / IDPMS monitoring to ensure timely closure of open items. Month End Close and Post Close Activities Review and analysis of related account reconciliations Support P&L and BS analytical review Assist in statutory financial statement preparation, statutory audit and tax audits Monitoring of related SOX controls Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration CA/CPA license preferred At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance in total Experience in public accounting with minimum 2 years of Auditing experience preferred (Big 4 firms preferred) Experience complying with U.S. SEC financial reporting requirements Experience in large multi-national organizations preferred Experience in Electronic Security Solutions or Financial Self-Service industry preferred Working knowledge in Oracle 11i About Us Why should you join Diebold Nixdorf?
