Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including journal entries, ledger management, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor and customer payments.
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings as per local regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of internal and statutory audits.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reports as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized organization.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP / Ind AS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and other financial tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing GST, TDS, and other compliance processes.
• Exposure to financial reporting and audit coordination.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and fixed asset accounting will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
