Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Supervision

  • Oversee the hospital’s day-to-day accounting operations including OP/IP billing, pharmacy accounts, laboratory billing, and departmental expenses.
  • Ensure timely posting of entries and reconciliation of ledgers, bank accounts, and vendor statements.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Supervise the accounting team and ensure adherence to accounting standards and hospital policies.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and expenditure plans.
  • Monitor department-wise budget utilization and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

3. Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure timely completion and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
  • Maintain proper financial documentation for audits, NABH inspections, and statutory reviews.

4. Billing & Revenue Management

  • Ensure accuracy in patient billing, insurance claim processing, and follow-up of receivables.
  • Verify and monitor billing procedures in HIS (Hospital Information System).
  • Work closely with the insurance desk and finance team to reconcile outstanding payments and claims.

5. Vendor & Asset Management

  • Approve vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment schedules.
  • Maintain vendor accounts, ensure timely payments, and monitor outstanding liabilities.
  • Assist in financial tracking of hospital equipment and asset management.

6. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, train, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff.
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
  • Support top management with MIS reports and financial insights.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA / CMA (Preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a hospital or healthcare institution.
  • Hospital experience is mandatory — others please excuse.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Tally Prime / ERP / Hospital Accounting Software.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial analysis, and statutory compliance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
