Senior Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Account Management:Managing general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
• Supervision:Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff, including training and performance reviews.
• Financial Analysis:Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:Assisting with the development and tracking of budgets and forecasts.
• Audit Coordination:Assisting with external audits and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Internal Controls:Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data.
• Compliance:Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant laws.
• Process Improvement:Identifying and implementing improvements to accounting processes and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Several years of experience in accounting roles, with experience in a senior or supervisory role preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally ERP).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is often required.
• CPA certification is often preferred.
