Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Account Management: Managing general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations. Supervision: Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff, including training and performance reviews. Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with the development and tracking of budgets and forecasts. Audit Coordination: Assisting with external audits and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Internal Controls: Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant laws. Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to accounting processes and procedures. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Several years of experience in accounting roles, with experience in a senior or supervisory role preferred. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally ERP). Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations (GAAP). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is often required. CPA certification is often preferred.
