Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate complex, interdependent

  security infrastructure releases

  (firewall upgrades, threat mitigation, segmentation rollouts, etc.).
• Oversee end-to-end delivery, from requirement gathering through production deployment and Day-One support.
• Collaborate with security engineers, project/program managers, change management, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness.
• Develop and maintain

  release plans, impact/risk assessments, calendars, and communication strategies

  .
• Lead change request creation, peer reviews, risk assessments, and post-implementation evaluations.
• Ensure all security implementations comply with internal standards, change policies, and audit requirements.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and conflicts across parallel releases.
• Serve as a key escalation point for security-related change collisions or release failures.
• Support Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities and governance reviews.
• Provide clear and timely updates to leadership, stakeholders, and partners on release status, issues, and metrics.
• Ensure complete documentation and evidence for all security releases and compliance checkpoints.

Technical Scope:

• Security technologies including but not limited to

  Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, NAC, VPNs, proxies, security monitoring and logging platforms

  .
• Familiarity with

  cloud security controls

  (Azure, AWS, GCP) and

  zero trust frameworks

  is preferred.
• Change and release operations across

  Data Center, DMZ, cloud, and hybrid environments

  .

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 10

  years of experience

  in a technical release, infrastructure, or security operations role.

• Security-focused certifications

  (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE) are a strong plus.
• Familiarity with

  ITIL, PMP, and Agile

  methodologies.
• Proven experience managing complex technical changes and release cycles in a large enterprise setting.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interfacing across technical and business teams.
