Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Within 2 hours driving distance of Crown Equipment offices Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Approx. $100,000 (commensurate with experience) About the Role: Crown Equipment is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in data engineering and will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our data infrastructure. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence twice per quarter for collaborative team meetings. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS Design and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server Perform data modeling and schema design to support business intelligence and reporting needs Leverage MySQL and other database technologies for cross-platform integration Work with cloud tools such as Azure or AWS for scalable data processing and storage Collaborate with analysts, business users, and other engineers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data systems Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience (8 years preferred) Strong command of SSIS and SQL Server Proficient in writing complex SQL queries Familiarity with MySQL Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud data services is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills Additional Information: Must reside within 2 hours driving distance of a Crown Equipment office Must attend in-person team meetings twice per quarter No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
