About the Role

SEO Manager

The ideal candidate is not only skilled in SEO tactics but also has a strong grasp of branding and copywriting, ensuring that all content serves both ranking goals and the company’s voice. Attention to detail, technical know-how, and the ability to collaborate across teams are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic visibility.
• Write, edit, and publish engaging, brand-aligned content including blogs, landing pages, and website copy.
• Build and manage backlinking campaigns, outreach efforts, and guest posting opportunities.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page optimization to support content planning.
• Oversee and optimize WordPress-based websites, ensuring SEO best practices are applied across content and site structure.
• Manage technical SEO initiatives including site audits, indexing, site speed, schema markup, and error resolution.
• Align all content and site optimizations with brand voice and positioning to ensure consistency.
• Track, analyze, and report SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices in SEO and content marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in SEO, content writing, and digital marketing.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different audiences.
• Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing WordPress sites.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical SEO (crawlability, site speed, structured data, sitemaps, etc.).
• Knowledge of backlink building strategies and outreach best practices.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Availability to work standard business hours aligned with West Coast U.S. (California/Arizona) time zones
