Pricing Analyst

We're offering a contract position initially for 6 months, with a potential to transition into a full-time role down the line.

Compensation package would range from 5 LPA to 10 LPA and would be paid out on a monthly basis, tailored to match your level of experience, for the duration of the contract and then revised. Your skills deserve recognition, and we're committed to providing fair compensation.

This is a remote role based in India. We kindly ask that individuals from the US refrain from applying.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and assess pricing strategies, forecasts, and rates for vacation rental homes.
• Monitor and analyze economic and hospitality industry trends to inform revenue optimization strategies.
• Utilize occupancy and nightly rate data to devise promotional plans aimed at increasing revenue.
• Generate comprehensive reports on revenue, pacing, average daily rate (ADR), and annual unit comparisons.
• Conduct ongoing audits of vacation rental homes' performance, quality, and upgrades.
• Contribute to Marketing Team meetings to devise annual strategies and campaigns.
• Collaborate with homeowners and Business Development team to analyze data and provide insights for enhancing property performance and guest experiences.
• Leverage AI and machine learning tools to enhance revenue analysis and forecasting.
• Engage in coding and other tech ventures to streamline data analysis processes and improve efficiency.
• Fulfill other job duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or others.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
• Familiarity with revenue management tools like PriceLabs for dynamic pricing and occupancy optimization is preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques for data analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of data analysis.
