Scrum Master with API Experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Agile Delivery & Scrum Mastery
   • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for multiple Spark Assist teams.
   • Coach teams on Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and self-organization.
   • Track sprint velocity, manage sprint commitments, and resolve impediments to ensure delivery targets are met.
   • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and maintain alignment on goals and deliverables.
2. Product Operations
   • Oversee end-to-end release management for APIs: maintain release calendar, enforce scope freeze, manage QA signoff, coordinate environment readiness, and establish rollback protocols.
   • Drive backlog hygiene by ensuring clear prioritization, actionable user stories, and timely grooming.
   • Document and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks to support team efficiency and knowledge transfer.
3. User Engagement & Support
   • Serve as the primary liaison for Spark Assist users on Viva Engage and Teams Channels, addressing queries, triaging issues, and collecting actionable feedback.
   • Proactively communicate product updates, upcoming releases, and support resources.
   • Organize and facilitate Spark Assist Office Hours such as for APIs to foster direct engagement and knowledge sharing.
4. Continuous Improvement & Change Management
   • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline delivery, enhance quality, and reduce cycle times.
   • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and learning within and across teams.
   • Lead change management initiatives for new features, releases, and operational practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years’ experience in Agile delivery,  and/or product operations, preferably in software/web/app/API environments.
• Demonstrated success as a Scrum Master , with a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using tools like ADO, Confluence, Teams, and reporting platforms.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Technical understanding of web and API products; ability to bridge business and technical perspectives and support APIs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scrum Master or Agile certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.).
• Experience with enterprise software, AI/ML products, or API development.
• Familiarity with metrics-driven product operations and user support best practices.
