Scrum Master

Job Summary (JD for SM):

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to lead and facilitate agile practices for one or more Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles and hands-on experience applying SAFe in a large-scale, distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement).

· Guide teams on Agile/SAFe best practices and ensure adherence to Agile principles.

· Remove team impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

· Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTE), and other Scrum Masters across Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

· Ensure consistent velocity, sprint health, and delivery by leveraging metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity, defect leakage).

· Assist in the preparation and execution of PI (Program Increment) Planning and other SAFe events.

· Support the team in aligning with the Program's goals, timelines, and dependencies.

· Drive cross-team coordination and facilitate effective communication across stakeholders.

· Ensure transparency by tracking progress using tools such as JIRA, Confluence.

· Foster a safe and trusting environment for open communication and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· 8+ years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master.

· Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments across multiple teams or trains.

· Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Rally).

· Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), or equivalent Agile certifications (CSM, PSM).

· Experience in Agile transformation programs within large enterprise environments.

· Exposure to DevOps culture and CI/CD pipeline integration in Agile teams.

· Knowledge of Lean-Agile budgeting and metrics in a SAFe environment.
