Scrum Master

Scrum & Agile Delivery

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  
• Ensure the team follows Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices tailored for product development.
  
• Remove impediments to the teams progress and ensure smooth sprint execution.
  
• Track sprint progress using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally).
  
• Drive continuous improvement within the team.
  

Team Collaboration & Coaching

• Coach team members on Agile mindset, self-organization, and cross-functionality.
  
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
  
• Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and open communication.
  
• Promote team accountability and encourage ownership of deliverables.
  

Product-Focused Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to align sprint goals with product roadmaps.
  
• Help ensure product increments meet Definition of Done and maintain high quality.
  
• Support backlog refinement and help translate product requirements into clear user stories.
  
• Help optimize team velocity and contribute to predictable product releases.
  

Stakeholder & Process Management

• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  
• Work with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, UX, Architecture) to improve delivery workflows.
  
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals and adherence to product release processes.
  
• Drive adoption of Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.) to improve planning and delivery.
