The Scrum Master will act as an effective change agent, promoting agile best practices to teams focusing on alignment with business, relentless improvement and delivering value. This individual will support enterprise agile adoption and maturity across the enterprise by observing, evaluating, and implementing changes to solve organizational and cultural impediments to improve the agile transformation of a program or project. Be a point of contact for helping others be aware and understand agile best practices. Be a servant leader to the scrum team. Addressing any concerns Clearing any blockers Facilitate agile meetings/ceremonies for teams. Ensuring purposes are met, effectively and efficiently. Ensure team is always aligned with product/sprint goals Coach agile best practices to scrum team. Continuously ensure agile best practices are being followed. Support enterprise agile adoption and maturity across the enterprise by observing, evaluating, and implementing changes to solve organizational and cultural impediments to improve the agile transformation of a program or project. Collaborate with team and leadership to re-enforce and teach agile best practice. Always driving team to improve culture, processes, and delivery. Communicate changes, intended goals, timelines, and results Assist in implementing training programs. Monitor improvement in maturity, quality, predictability, and delivery as adoption of agile practices increases to ensure coaching meets the required outcomes. Be servant leader for scrum teams that are just starting their agile journey, assess, meet the team where they are and setup plans to move the team forward. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. One or more agile certifications preferred (e.g. CSM, CSPO, CSP, PSM, PSPO, SAFe). TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Energetic and skilled at engaging with different team members with different personalities. Ability to learn quickly and teach others by showing what worked and what did not work. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to prepare presentations including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes & handouts, etc. Ability to communicate both verbally and written are essential to work closely with team members and managers, and effectively manage problems as they occur. Effective organization and time management skills. Strong attention to detail. EXPERIENCE Preferred 1 year of experience in project management or practicing scrum. LEADERSHIP SKILLS Ability to influence and negotiate with a diverse population. Ability to support, affect, and implement change.
