About The Role
Softobiz is looking for a dynamic Technical Delivery Lead with a strong background in open-source technologies and a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems. This role demands hands-on technical leadership, project ownership, and the ability to work closely with both clients and internal teams to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions.The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cloud-native development, microservices architecture, and scalable solution design, with exposure to emerging technologies such as Generative AI, IoT-based solutions, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle delivery of enterprise software solutions using open-source technologies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business goals and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore), driving project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Ensure adherence to architecture, coding standards, DevOps pipelines, and security best practices.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes across projects.
- Drive Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and foster a high-performance team culture.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning efforts, including architecture blueprints, effort estimations, and presentations.
- Stay updated with trends in cloud, AI, IoT, and open-source ecosystems to propose innovative solutions.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and delivery leadership roles.
- Strong technical expertise in open-source backend frameworks (Node.js, Java, etc.) and frontend libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Proven experience in designing and delivering highly scalable, cloud-native solutions.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP, with knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD workflows.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and system integrations.
- Experience in Agile environments, with strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Generative AI development toolkits (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Vertex AI, etc.)
- Experience in delivering IoT-based solutions or working with connected device platforms.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience mentoring engineering teams and driving architectural best practices.
