Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an AppDynamics (Implementation & Support) Consultant.The consultant will be responsible for implementing and providing technical support for AppDynamics solutions.Daily tasks include performing application monitoring, troubleshooting issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing expert consulting services to optimize client systems.Coordination with clients and internal teams will be a key aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities Deployment & Configuration
- Install, configure, and implement AppDynamics components :
- Controller.
- Agents (Java, .NET, Machine Agent, Database Agent, Network Agent).
- Analytics & End User Monitoring (EUM).
- Configure health rules, policies, dashboards, and baselines.
- Setup custom metrics, business transactions, service endpoints, and backend monitoring.
- Fine-tune agent configurations for optimal performance.
Integration & Automation
- Integrate AppDynamics with :
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Work with APIs and automation scripts to streamline monitoring operations.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using AppDynamics.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks across servers, applications, databases, and network components.
- Investigate slow transactions, memory leaks, CPU/GC issues, and backend response times.
- Prepare performance dashboards for DevOps, application, and business teams.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Create customized reports, alerts, and performance insights for business and technical stakeholders.
- Configure analytics for business KPIs and operational metrics.
- Present performance findings and & Training :
- Prepare installation guides, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Train teams on using AppDynamics dashboards, alerts, and reporting capabilities.
Project Coordination
- Work with multiple technical teams to gather requirements and implement monitoring solutions.
- Participate in technical meetings, UAT sessions, and go-live support.
- Manage timelines for implementation phases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3- 7 years of experience in AppDynamics implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of :
- APM tools and observability concepts.
- Java/.NET application architecture.
- Linux/Windows server administration.
- Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience installing and configuring AppDynamics agents.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for application performance issues.
Preferred / Good To Have
- AppDynamics Certified Associate / Professional.
- Experience with :
- Microservices / Kubernetes.
- Docker.
- SRE, DevOps, or ITIL practices.
- Familiarity with other APM tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, SolarWinds, Splunk)
