SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end SAP PP implementations, enhancements, and production support initiatives.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to design, configure, and deliver SAP PP solutions aligned with operational needs.
• Customize core PP components including Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Bills of Materials (BOM), Work Centers, Routings, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, and Production Orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., SAP MM, SD, QM, FI) to ensure seamless business process integration.
• Prepare detailed documentation including functional specifications, configuration documents, and training materials.
• Conduct system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and provide post-go-live support.
• Identify opportunities for system improvement and process optimization.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in SAP PP module with full lifecycle implementation and support expertise.
• Strong understanding of discrete and/or process manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with integration points between SAP PP and other modules such as MM, SD, and QM.
• Hands-on experience with production master data, MRP, and capacity planning tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  SAP S/4HANA

  PP module is highly desirable.
• SAP PP Certification is a plus.
• Exposure to SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) is an advantage.
