SAP FICO Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the SAP FICO module (Financial Accounting and Controlling) to ensure that financial operations run efficiently. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and support end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP FICO Implementation & Configuration:
• Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules based on business requirements.
• Ensure the system is aligned with accounting standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the configuration of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting in SAP.
• System Integration & Support:
• Work with technical teams to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO end-users.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve any issues related to financial accounting and controlling in the SAP system.
• Business Process Mapping & Optimization:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial processes and suggest improvements.
• Map business processes to SAP FICO functionalities, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
• Recommend system optimizations to increase the effectiveness of financial reporting and controlling.
• Testing & Training:
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure correct functionality of the system.
• Prepare and deliver training to end-users, including finance and accounting teams, on SAP FICO functionality.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Work on financial reporting requirements by utilizing SAP’s reporting tools (e.g., FICO reports, financial statements).
• Generate financial and management reports and analyze data to support decision-making.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Ensure proper documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and auditing standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as an SAP FICO Consultant or in a similar role in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling.
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO modules, including FI, CO, GL, AR, AP, and AA.
• In-depth knowledge of financial accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with SAP integration with other modules like MM, SD, and PS is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Certification in SAP FICO is an advantage.
