ERP & SQL Report Developer (SAP Business One)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ERP & SQL Report Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Business One to manage ERP operations, develop SQL-based reports, and provide IT coordination support. The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, supply chain, and management teams to ensure efficient system usage, accurate data, and continuous process improvement.

Core Responsibilities

ERP System Management

• Oversee and optimize daily ERP operations within SAP Business One.
• Manage and maintain master data and sap modules like sales process, Finance modules, Inventory, Procurement process, and Production Planning modules, Production process and standard process flow.
• Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing and business processes through effective ERP configuration and support.

SQL Report Development

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SQL queries, reports, and dashboards for management and departments such as Production, Quality, Dispatch, and Finance.
• Provide actionable insights by analysing ERP data.

IT Coordination & User Support

• Act as the primary IT coordinator for ERP-related activities.
• Provide L1/L2 user support, troubleshooting ERP and system-related issues.
• Coordinate with external ERP consultants and vendors for advanced technical support and enhancements.

Data Management & Integrity

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of ERP data across modules.
• Perform data uploads, migrations, validations, and periodic data audits

Process Improvement & Business Support

• Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Stores teams to understand business requirements.
• Identify process gaps and implement workflow improvements using ERP tools and reporting.

Documentation & Training

• Maintain comprehensive ERP documentation, SOPs, and process notes.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide guidance on best practices and system usage to end user

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years to 5 years of hands-on experience in ERP implementation, development, or support.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing / production environment is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience in SAP Business One with Beas manufacturing process is an added advantage
• Experience in report development tools such as Crystal Reports is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and hardware support.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• High attention to detail with a proactive and structured approach to work
