Role overview

Hiring an SAP CO (Controlling) Consultant with 4–6 years of experience to implement, support, and optimize SAP CO processes for the finance and controlling functions at our Hyderabad location.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements in Controlling (cost centres, profit centres, internal orders, COPA, product costing) and translate them into SAP solutions.

• Configure and support SAP CO processes including planning, budgeting, cost allocations, month-end closing, and profitability reporting.

• Work closely with FI and other modules (MM, PP, SD) to ensure end‑to‑end process integration and accurate cost flows.

• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements/changes and coordinate with technical teams for development and testing.
• Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; support cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

• Provide support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement of CO processes and reports.

• Create and maintain process documentation, configuration documents, and end‑user training materials.

Required experience and skills

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience as an SAP CO consultant in implementation, rollout, or support projects.

• Strong knowledge of key CO sub‑modules: Cost Centre Accounting (CCA), Profit Centre Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO‑PA); product costing exposure is highly preferred.

• Good understanding of integration with SAP FI (GL, AR, AP, Assets) and month‑end closing activities.

• Experience in at least one full lifecycle implementation or two large support/rollout engagements in SAP CO; S/4HANA experience is an advantage.

• Ability to analyze controlling data, explain variances, and support finance stakeholders with meaningful reports.

Education and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP CO/Management Accounting certification on ECC or S/4HANA is preferred but not mandatory.
