Founded in 1997, Bhoomika has a legacy of more than two decades in enhancing the quality of life for underserved communities. It started its interventions during the restoration and rehabilitation response to the super cyclone of 1990 in Odisha, India, which left around 10,000 people dead and lakhs homeless.
