Job Description

Future Technologies is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our growing solar division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating leads, conducting site visits, explaining solar solutions, preparing quotations, closing deals, and ensuring timely payment collection. The role requires strong communication skills, solar product awareness, field confidence, and a passion for renewable energy.

Location: On-site (Field Sales) | Focus: On-Grid Solar Inverters & Systems
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Timing: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads through field visits, calls, referrals, and networking.
  • Conduct cold calling and follow-ups to convert potential leads.
  • Meet clients for product demonstrations, proposals, and technical discussions.
  • Perform site assessments, basic technical measurements, and system feasibility checks.
  • Prepare and share quotations, commercial proposals, and supporting documents.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
  • Coordinate with the technical and admin teams for installation scheduling and customer support.
  • Ensure payment collections and maintain proper documentation.
  • Maintain daily reports through CRM and submit weekly sales performance updates.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat and referral sales.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of sales experience. (Solar sales preferred; general sales candidates also accepted.)
  • Strong communication skills in Malayalam, English, and Hindi.
  • Basic understanding of solar on-grid systems, site measurement, quotations, and CRM usage.
  • Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently across assigned territory.
  • Goal-oriented, persuasive, disciplined, and customer-focused.
  • The candidate must possess strong negotiation abilities in addition to expertise in sales closing, canvassing, and customer relationship management.
  • The candidate should be able to address customer complaints and deliver strong customer service, with solid market understanding and problem-solving skills.
