Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager – B2B Sales to join our team. .In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our solar energy solutions by identifying and developing new business opportunities, delivering tailored solutions to clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic B2B sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar sales and installation projects (residential, commercial, and industrial).
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by generating leads, conducting client meetings, and closing deals.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations to potential customers.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and professional service.
  • Address client queries, provide technical support in coordination with the engineering team, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with corporate clients, government institutions, and channel partners.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new trends, competitors, and growth opportunities in the solar industry.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to expand the company’s footprint in the renewable energy market.
  • Recommend product improvements and new solutions based on market and customer insights.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and competitor offerings in the solar energy industry. Use this knowledge to refine sales strategies and educate clients.
  • Coordinate with the technical and operations team to ensure timely project execution.
  • Assist in tendering, documentation, and government liaison for solar projects (if applicable).
  • Monitor project delivery and ensure compliance with customer requirements and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, client databases, and project progress reports.
  • Provide regular updates and MIS reports to senior management regarding business pipeline and sales performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts and successful project implementation.
  • Client Consultation & Needs Assessment: Conduct site assessments and consultations to understand client energy needs, recommend appropriate solar solutions, and align offerings with their goals and budgets.
  • Sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations that clearly explain the benefits, features, pricing, and advantages of solar energy systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • More than 3 years of experience in sales and marketing—preferably in solar, renewable energy, or a related technical field(Electrical)
