Job Description

About The Opportunity

A fast-moving role in the Travel & Tourism industry serving retail and corporate customers across India. The position sits within an on-site sales team focused on delivering end-to-end travel solutions — flights, holiday packages, hotels, visas and corporate travel services — to meet revenue targets and grow long-term client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities (Sales Executive)

  • Hit monthly and quarterly sales targets by proactively selling flights, holiday packages, hotel stays, visas and ancillary travel services to walk-in and corporate clients.
  • Source, qualify and convert leads through in-person consultations, outbound calls, email follow-ups and local B2B outreach to travel agents and corporates.
  • Manage end-to-end bookings and ticketing: prepare quotes, confirm reservations, coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely issuance and documentation.
  • Maintain and grow corporate accounts and local partnerships—negotiate contracts, create customised packages and upsell ancillary services (insurance, transfers, excursions).
  • Update CRM with accurate customer records, sales activity and pipeline; produce regular sales reports and track KPIs (conversion rate, average booking value, revenue).
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints on-site, ensure high service standards and contribute to local marketing/promotional initiatives to drive footfall.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • 1–3 years of direct sales experience in travel & tourism, ticketing or hospitality, preferably in an on-site retail or corporate-sales role.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and working within KPI-driven environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills; confident in face-to-face customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with GDS (Amadeus/Travelport) or online booking platforms and basic CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce) to manage leads and bookings.
  • Proficient with MS Office—especially Excel for reporting—and basic invoicing/billing operations.
  • Willingness to work on-site across India; legally eligible to work in India and comfortable with flexible hours during peak travel seasons.

Preferred

  • Experience in corporate travel, MICE, or designing customised holiday packages; local language skills are a plus.
  • Diploma/degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Travel Management, or Business is advantageous.

Benefits & Culture Highlights

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-linked incentives, commission on bookings and clear target-based growth path.
  • Employee travel discounts, experiential learning, and on-the-job training in booking systems and client management.
  • Collaborative, customer-first culture with strong emphasis on measurable performance and career progression within the travel domain.
