Qualification: B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical / Mechatronics / Industrial Automation (Preferred)

Role Summary The Marketing Engineer will be responsible for generating new business, understanding customer automation requirements, preparing technical proposals, and supporting the sales cycle for custom-built special purpose machines. The role requires strong technical knowledge along with excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Market Research

• Identify potential customers from automotive, manufacturing, FMCG, textile, and general engineering industries.

• Conduct market research on automation trends, competitor products, and customer needs.

• Build and maintain a strong database of OEMs and industrial clients.

2. Customer Interaction & Requirement Gathering

• Visit customer sites to understand applications, pain points, and automation opportunities.

• Collect technical requirements, machine specifications, cycle times, quality parameters, and layout details.

• Prepare need-analysis reports based on customer input.

3. Technical Proposal & Costing

• Coordinate with the design & engineering team to develop concept solutions.

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, BOM costing, and preliminary layouts.

• Explain machine concepts, working principles, and advantages to customers.

4. Sales & Negotiation

• Present proposals and product presentations to customers (online/offline).

• Handle pricing discussions, commercial terms, and order finalization.

• Maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

5. Coordination & Project Handover

• Work closely with design, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Participate in design reviews and kick-off meetings.

• Support FAT/SAT discussions and provide customer feedback to internal teams.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare weekly sales reports, enquiry status, and forecasting plans.

• Maintain CRM records, visit reports, and pipeline tracking. Key Skills Required

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and automation.

• Knowledge of SPM design, assembly process, industrial machinery, and production workflows.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to understand engineering drawings and machine layouts.

• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic CAD knowledge (added advantage).

• Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel. Preferred Industry Background

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
