Role Summary

We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our equipment sales operations from our Pune office. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves developing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, building strong customer relationships, and working closely with the marketing department to align business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management within the construction or heavy equipment industry.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and volume targets

Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team across regional branches

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Maharashtra and Goa

Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

Track and report sales KPIs regularly to senior management

Coordinate with marketing for promotions, lead generation, and branding activities

Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to fine-tune sales strategy

Set individual sales targets and monitor team performance

Assist in onboarding and training of new sales personnel


Skills Required

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems

Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to market development

Decision-making and problem-solving under dynamic conditions


Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

MBA preferred


Experience

5–7+ years of total experience in sales

Minimum 3 years in a managerial or team-lead role, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or heavy machinery sectors
