Job Summary:

Senior Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and key markets (export and domestic).
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to optimize pricing and positioning.

2. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts including cosmetic companies, essential oil formulators, spa chains, and bulk buyers.
• Act as a consultant to clients on oil properties, applications, and sourcing advantages.

3. Business Development

• Identify and onboard new customers in India and overseas markets.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and B2B networking events.

4. Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor the sales team to ensure performance targets are met.
• Provide product and market training to junior sales staff.

5. Reporting & Forecasting

• Provide weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
• Analyze sales performance data to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Business Administration, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field

  .
• 7–12 years of experience in

  sales and marketing

  within the

  essential oil/carrier oil/pharma/cosmetic raw material

  industry.

Key Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of

  essential oils, carrier oils, phytochemistry, and their applications

  .
• Strong network within

  cosmetics, personal care, aromatherapy, nutraceuticals

  industries.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team and manage key accounts.
• Familiarity with

  regulatory standards (FSSAI, ISO, REACH, USDA Organic, etc.)

  is a plus.
