Job Description – Sales Manager (Procurement Business)


About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Professional to drive procurement business for office interior projects. The candidate will focus on selling products and materials to contractors and project firms engaged in workplace interiors. This is a B2B sales role requiring strong relationship-building with business owners, contractors, architects, and procurement teams, while maintaining a structured sales process for scalability and predictability.


Key Responsibilities

 Identify and acquire new contractors, project management firms, and corporate clients for procurement of interior materials and products.

 Build strong and lasting relationships with business owners, procurement managers, and site execution teams.

 Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products/materials from our portfolio.

 Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting, lead qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closure.

 Develop and execute a structured sales process with CRM tracking, funnel management, and reporting.

 Collaborate with internal teams (RFQ team, sourcing, design, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

 Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and drive repeat business.

 Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing in the interior contracting and procurement space.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

 3–6 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in building materials, interiors, office furniture, procurement solutions, or allied industries.


Skills & Attributes

 Strong business development skills with proven track record in closing B2B sales.

 Relationship-driven approach: ability to influence contractors, architects, and business owners.

 Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

 Proficiency in CRM tools and structured sales processes.

 Ability to work independently, with high ownership and accountability.

 Familiarity with office interiors, construction supply chain, or furniture domain is a big plus.
