Job Title: Salesman – HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés) Department: Sales Industry: Food & Beverage / FMCG Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai Reporting to: Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and driven Salesman for HORECA to join our growing food brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts in the HORECA segment, achieving sales targets, expanding our customer base, and ensuring excellent client service and brand visibility. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong relationships with HORECA clients (hotels, restaurants, cafes, catering companies, etc.). Promote and sell the company’s food products to existing and prospective clients. Identify new business opportunities within the HORECA segment. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Conduct regular market visits and meet customers to understand their needs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreement with clients. Provide product samples, promotions, and marketing support to clients. Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising at customer locations. Coordinate with logistics and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to management. Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and customer interactions using CRM tools or reports. Qualifications and Requirements:Proven experience (2–5 years) in sales, preferably in the HORECA channel within the food or FMCG industry. Strong understanding of the HORECA market and customer behavior. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in [language] – written and spoken. (Additional languages are a plus.)
