Job Description

Nyasta is looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and motivate our high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, achieving sales targets, and expanding our customer base for our products.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and Coach: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve overall company revenue and growth targets.
  • Target Setting: Establish realistic and challenging sales goals, quotas, and performance metrics for the team.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and areas for process improvement.
  • Client Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of strong, long-lasting customer relationships, often managing key accounts directly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to align sales efforts with broader business objectives and budgets.
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for the senior management team.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience: [3+] years of proven experience as a Sales Manager or a similar sales leadership role.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Business Acumen: Excellent knowledge of sales principles, customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and sales process optimization.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
