Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Hubli. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and building strong customer relationships. The role involves exploring new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, overseeing market analysis, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and maintaining knowledge of the agricultural products offered by IIPL.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Business Development: Proven experience in sales strategies, client acquisition, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Team Leadership: Strong leadership, team management, and motivation skills to drive sales team performance.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of agricultural products and market trends, including fertilizers and farm inputs.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools to track performance and evaluate opportunities.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in the agricultural sector is advantageous.
  • Problem-solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, identify potential issues, and provide actionable recommendations.
