Job Title: Hypermart Outlet Manager Department: Sales & Retail Operations Company: AM/NS India (ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India) Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh Job Type: Full-time Job Purpose To drive sales, achieve revenue targets, and efficiently manage the operations of the AMNS Hypermart outlet(s) in Indore. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, strengthening customer relationships, overseeing store operations, and ensuring effective inventory and logistics management. Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Generation Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop and implement sales strategies suited to the Indore market, focusing on small builders, contractors, fabricators, and individual homeowners. Expand customer base by identifying and tapping into new business opportunities. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adapt strategies effectively. 2. Hypermart Operations & Management Oversee daily operations of the outlet, ensuring adherence to company standards. Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and reducing stockouts. Ensure product display, merchandising, and promotional material placement. Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery and smooth supply chain operations. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. 3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)Build and sustain long-term customer relationships through superior service. Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback with speed and efficiency. Educate customers on AMNS product applications, advantages, and solutions. 4. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and motivate sales executives/store staff. Set performance goals, review progress, and provide regular feedback. Identify training requirements and facilitate employee development. Foster a customer-first, high-performance culture within the team. 5. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and share periodic sales, market intelligence, and performance reports. Analyze sales data to identify improvement areas and implement corrective measures. Contribute to sales forecasting and demand planning activities. 6. Promotions & Marketing Execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives as per company guidelines. Engage in local marketing activities to improve brand visibility and increase store footfall. Qualifications & Skills Education: Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related discipline. MBA preferred. Experience: 6–10 years of sales experience in retail, building materials, steel, or construction-related industries. Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial/leadership role handling sales teams and retail operations. Skills: Strong sales acumen with proven target achievement. Knowledge of local Indore market and customer segments (builders, contractors, fabricators). Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, sales reporting tools, and CRM systems. Customer service orientation with problem-solving ability. Why Join Us?
