Job Description

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive business growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Lead, mentor, and build a strong team of regional sales managers and executives.
  • Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and competitor activities, and recommend action plans.
  • Set and track sales targets for the team.
  • Foster strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end-users.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and product development teams to align offerings with customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends and provide regular feedback to leadership.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and key account management.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  • Ensure CRM and reporting tools are updated with accurate sales forecasts and customer interactions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of switchgear products (MCB, RCCB, DB, CHANGEOVERS, ISOLATORS), electrical panels, and related applications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High business acumen with strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience in B2B sales, project sales, and channel sales management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive targets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and support teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
  • MBA in Marketing or Business Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in technical/industrial product sales, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role within the switchgear or electrical industry.
