The Role: Award Sales Manager

You will play a crucial role in expanding our portfolio of award categories and securing sponsorships and nominations from leading design firms, architects, interior designers, and prominent brands across India. This is a strategic role that demands a blend of sales acumen, market insight, and a genuine appreciation for design excellence.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Sales Leadership:

    5+ years of experience in sales management, with a demonstrable history of exceeding targets in the events, media, or awards industry. Experience with design or B2B awards is a significant plus.
  • Strategic Vision:

    Ability to identify new market opportunities, develop robust sales strategies, and execute plans to drive consistent revenue growth for our award programs.
  • Relationship Architect:

    Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills. You'll be connecting with CXOs, industry leaders, and key stakeholders in the design and corporate world.
  • Market Savvy:

    Deep understanding of the Indian design landscape, including key players, emerging trends, and the value proposition of prestigious awards.
  • Team Player & Motivator:

    While this role requires strong individual contribution, you'll also be a mentor and motivator, potentially building and guiding a small team in the future.
  • Communication Prowess:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and deliver impactful presentations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed award nomination and sponsorship revenue targets.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new clients, including design studios, architectural firms, product companies, and corporate sponsors.
  • Nurture existing client relationships to ensure repeat participation and maximize long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of award programs and deliver exceptional value to participants.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
