Role Objective

Sales Manager from the Aluminum Manufacturing Industry


Key Responsibilities

1. Aluminum Sales Growth & Execution

  • Drive B2B sales for aluminum products including

    ingots, billets, coils, rods, wire rods, extrusions, sheets, and finished aluminum products

    .
  • Generate quality leads through cold calling, industry research, factory visits, and networking.
  • Acquire new industrial buyers from

    automotive, electrical, engineering, packaging, casting, fabrication, and OEM sectors

    .
  • Meet monthly and annual sales targets through structured sales plans.

2. Market Development – Aluminum Industry

  • Identify new markets, sectors, and applications for aluminum products.
  • Understand product demand patterns, competitor pricing, and market trends.
  • Conduct field visits to casting units, factories, and manufacturing plants to pitch products.
  • Participate in trade fairs, aluminum industry exhibitions, and networking events.

3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with industrial buyers, distributors, and aluminum processors.
  • Handle the complete sales cycle: lead generation → technical discussions → quotations → negotiation → deal closure.
  • Ensure high customer retention and repeat business.
  • Capture customer feedback on

    product quality, finishing standards, supply issues, logistics

    , and competitor offerings.

4. Technical & Product Expertise (including Finished Product Quality)

  • Explain product grades, mechanical properties, finishing quality, and applications to customers.
  • Understand and communicate

    aluminum finishing standards such as surface finish, thickness tolerance, alloy grade quality, hardness, and defect control

    .
  • Work closely with production and QC teams to ensure delivered materials match customer specifications.
  • Recommend suitable aluminum grades and finished products based on industrial applications.

5. Inventory, Pricing & Payment Management

  • Monitor inventory levels across different aluminum grades and finished product categories.
  • Ensure strict compliance with pricing structures and company commercial policies.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit weekly sales reports, site visit summaries, competitor analysis, and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with senior management on business plans, budgets, and new market opportunities.
