Job Description

As a Sales Manager/Head in the Transport and Logistic industry, your role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize sales. You will be responsible for setting individual and team sales targets, monitoring team performance, and managing and motivating the team. Building and maintaining customer relationships, analyzing market trends and competitor activity, and collaborating with other departments will also be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. - Oversee the entire business development, operations, sales, finance, credit control, and administration of the General Cargo Division in the Gujarat region. - Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to the team. - Conduct regular meetings with the team and engage in team building activities to enhance sales. - Ensure the team is working effectively and efficiently to meet or exceed sales goals consistently. - Identify the right customers for engaging services. Qualifications Required: - Leadership skills - Communication skills - Strategic thinking abilities - Analytical skills - Customer focus - Sales experience - Industry knowledge - Time management skills - Adaptability - Interpersonal skills - Deep understanding of sales processes and customer behaviors - Team building experience - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred. - 12+ years of experience in the General Cargo Transport Industry with a proven track record in sales. - Strong commercial knowledge - Experience in a leadership or administrative role, leading sales, business development, and marketing activities in the Indian Sub-Continent region for General Cargo. - Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment - Excellent sales and negotiation skills - Proficiency in computer skills This role offers an opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the transport and logistics industry to lead sales efforts, drive business development, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.,
