Sales Head (India)


Role Overview


India Sales Head


  • Leading the sales team to consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Driving enterprise and mid-market opportunities across India.
  • Personally closing high-value, strategic deals.
  • Cultivating a strong sales culture rooted in high performance, accountability, and customer-centricity.


Key Responsibilities


  • Build, lead, and mentor a

    high-performance sales team

    in India.
  • Define and execute robust sales strategies, pipeline management processes, and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to team members in

    opportunity qualification, proposal development, and complex negotiations

    .
  • Personally manage and close

    strategic accounts and high-value enterprise deals

    .
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on Go-To-Market strategy.
  • Develop and implement repeatable playbooks for sales motions across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, continuously optimizing sales processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.


What We're Looking For


  • 7+ years of progressive experience in B2B SaaS / tech sales, with at least 3 years in

    sales leadership roles

    .
  • Proven track record of successfully

    closing enterprise-level deals

    .
  • Strong team-building, coaching, and mentorship skills.
  • Exceptional ability to explain complex AI/SaaS products in

    simple, compelling business terms

    .
  • A genuine startup mindset — resilient, resourceful, agile, and execution-driven.
  • A deep professional network within India’s tech/startup ecosystem is a significant plus.


Compensation Structure


The compensation structure includes a fixed salary of ₹50,000 per month along with performance-based incentives. Team-closed deals earn a 2% commission on opportunities closed collectively, while directly closed deals carry a commission ranging from 3% to 5% depending on the size of the deal. In addition, performance bonuses are provided as additional rewards for exceeding revenue targets.
